I have been coming to your blog for a bit now and I like it. This story was what I needed to hear right at this moment. You see, I am probably one of those who wouldn't stop to take the time or be put off talking to someone who is older. I stand accused of that just today. This gave me a lot of reflection. Today I didn't feel good and my husband and I took the older ladies out to lunch but because I didn't feel good, I didn't speak so much and basically ignored them. This beautiful story brought it home to me in a way I needed. If your a praying person, please pray that I can become just a little bit more humble to those around me. Again, what a beautiful story. Thank you.

LOL I'm getting in all the spice (and red pepper is my favorite) while I can. I'm having another surgery at the end of the month for the hiatal hernia they found during the cancer surgery and will be on a liquid diet for 2 months while I heal. At least now with the aid of medication I can eat my spice. :)

You know I'm always ready for a GIT challenge on Saturdays. Lots to do today since my son will be having a weekend long pre-prom man party weekend as he calls it. By late afternoon today I will have a house full of teenage boys.

I'm starting with catch up on email and blog visits this morning while getting some of the prep work done for some of the food for the guys and getting laundry going. After that it's cleaning house while my boys get the yard and patio done.
